  The Magicard Rio 2e printer features plug-and-play Microsoft Windows drivers and an intuitive LCD control panel that displays print job status with easy-to-read message prompts and commands.


• Flexible printer interfaces
  Ethernet, USB and Parallel interfaces are included with the Magicard Rio 2e.


• Card security made easy and inexpensive
  Magicard's exclusive HoloKote feature allows you to print a watermark with the Rio 2e printer without any added costs. The watermark is printed during the normal card printing cycle using the O panel of a standard color ribbon - there is no need to purchase expensive holographic lamination. The HoloKote watermark becomes visible when the card is viewed at an angle and can be easily enabled or disabled in your printer driver.
  
  HoloKote for the Rio 2e is available in four patterns: globes, keys, interlocking squares, or waves. When using the HoloKote option, the pattern of your choice is printed repeatedly across your card.
  
  For additional card security, the HoloKote Custom Key and HoloKote Custom FLEX Key allows you to print custom graphics and text.
  
  When HoloKote is used along with Magicard HoloPatch cards, one area of the watermark becomes a high-visibility seal with an appearance similar to a holographic patch, at a fraction of the cost.
